SEDP Staff Present at Michigan Economic Developers Association's Inside the Economic Development Toolbox
SEDP President/CEO Justin Horvath and Project Specialist Brent Jones both recently presented at Inside the Economic Development Toolbox, a seminar hosted by the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) at the Lexington Hotel in Lansing.
The event was designed to provide current information on a wide variety of tools and programs being utilized to support economic development throughout the state.
Jones, the chairman of MEDA's social media committee, was the moderator for the session "Building the Case for Social Media in Economic Development." Horvath was a panelist for "Regional Impact of the Next Michigan Development Corporations", discussing the new I-69 International Trade Corridor initiative.
"MEDA is a tremendous professional development resource, with great networking and educational programming, and both Brent and I were thankful to be offered the opportunity to speak at this event," said SEDP President/CEO Justin Horvath.
